Rhett Fulkerson is a lifelong woodworker based in Central Kentucky and a graduate of the University of Kentucky Fine Arts program. He is a trained cabinetmaker, having developed his craft in North Carolina, where a strong tradition of precision cabinetry and casework shaped his approach. His work is rooted in custom cabinetry, built-ins, and interior carpentry, alongside a focused practice in custom furniture. While his shop and primary service area are in Central Kentucky, he works with clients wherever the project is a good fit. Each piece reflects a balance of fine-art sensibility and practical craftsmanship, built with care and long-term use in mind.

The work begins with attention, to the material, to how a piece will be used, and to the space it’s meant for. Each project is built slowly in a small shop, with close consideration given to proportion, grain, and the details that tend to matter more over time. The aim is not excess or explanation, but thoughtful design, honest materials, and work made to last.
We stay in close communication throughout each project, from initial discussion through completion. If you’d like to start a project, have questions, or discuss a specific request, feel free to get in touch.

Occasional updates on current work and availability. No clutter.
